I asked about this a while back (several months) and was told a fix was imminent. I have yet to see a fix, even with the latest version 2.8.3.
This issue occurs on the Mac Livescribe desktop application. When I record audio and play back my notes on the desktop, the software often draws strokes in proximity to other stokes. This occurs even if I have written them at different times.
For example if I record my voice over a game of tic-tac-toe and play it back on the desktop app, the X's and O's get drawn (incorrectly) at the same times as I started drawing the tic-tac-toe box to start the game.
Any ideas on when this fix will be available? I am a teacher and use this pen to teach math, but it is VERY annoying when the answer or arrows show up OUT OF ORDER when replaying on the desktop software.
Please help.

Hi,
They are still working on this issue, and unfortunately we do not have a resolution date at this point. This is proving to be a challenging issue to resolve. I apologize for any frustration and I will post any information I get in this thread.
Thank you,
Jeff

I just checked with the engineers and they are still working on the issue. This is a priority for them, but it will take some time. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

I am having this issue as well, I'm both glad and sad to see that I am not the only one.
I finally installed LSD on Windows XP and it is running great. I never thought I'd have to run LSD via Parallels 7 to get full functionality out of [what was supposed to be] a Mac-compatible pen.
Shame on you Livescribe.

Hi,
I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue. Mac LD and PC LD handle the data differently and issues with one platform will not affect the other platform. That is why this issue only appears on Mac LD. They have made some progress on the issue and hope to release the fix soon. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you,
Jeff

Also experiencing this issue and I think the suggestion to just use Windows and wait for a fix is unacceptable. It was suggested to try installing older version of the Desktop software. Is that going to work and where can we get old versions of the software?

Hi Karen,
I can send you a previous version of Livescribe Desktop but please know that this version does not include Livescribe Connect. Additionally, this version may only work with the Pulse smartpen.
I will send you the Installer in a private message.
