I am on a Mac OS X 10.7.2. Livescribe Desktop 2.8.2
Echo 8GB Pen Fw 2.8.1_58486
When connecting to Livescribe desktop today, I got the KB article window and it took me to an article that said my clock was corrupted and to reinstall Livescribe desktop - which I did.
Then the last 2 pages in my notebook would not transfer to the desktop -so I quit and restarted a Desktop a few times... plugging an unplugging my pen. Livescribe Desktop was not responding so I had to force quit it.
Then my pen stopped responding. So I turned it off - wouldn't accept the "off" so I started pressing buttons on the Nav plus section inside my notebook. I ended up with the Delete All sessions prompt. I tried to get out of there - pushing other up and down arrows on the nav section and couldn't move from that prompt. Pen wasn't responding. So I shut it off and when I restart it says there are no paper replay sessions on the pen. It says there is 6630 MB available.
My questions are:
1. Have I actually deleted the data from the pen or is it there and somehow I can still access it?
2. What happens if I reconnect my pen to Livescribe Desktop - will I lose the data from the notebooks there?
3. If indeed I have deleted the data from the pen, wouldn't I have more than 6630 MB available?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Casey

After speaking with a Livescribe agent, I ran the Pen Flash Utility to get me back to FW 2.8.0 and still it says no recorded sessions and only 6635 MB available.
This is resolved by wonderful Michael on the chat. Thanks!
