Every time that I dock my pen Connect regenerates the pdfs that I've asked to be created via a shortcut, regardless of whether they were created before. These are custom shortcuts, and I haven't test what happens with the default shortcut. I can stop the reoccurence by resetting the Connect data on the pen (http://support.livescribe.com/entries/20354912-28008-using-the-smartpen-connect-application-reset-function). But that didn't fix the issue.
Thanks

Hi,
This is a recently found bug and the engineers are currently working on a fix. The only workaround is to use the reset feature after each docking. There is no date for resolution at this time. I will post any updates here. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you,
Jeff
Hi,
I have a similar problem on a Mac. Whenever I dock my Echo it seems to download pages (sometimes ones already synced) and put them as PDFs on the Desktop. It uses the "computer" connector without a shortcut. How can I stop this from happening? Same bug?
Kind regards,
JP
Hi,
Yes, it is Connect related and is occurring on both platforms. It would be best to perform the reset function mentioned above.
Thank you,
Jeff
Any update on this. It still happens in firmware version 2.8.1.
Thanks,
Matt
Hi,
This issue is not firmware based. This will be fixed in the next version of Connect. We are expecting to release it within the next 2 weeks.
Thank you,
Jeff
Jeff--could you give an update as to when the next version of Connect will be released, and whether or not this was fixed?
Thanks,
-Rick
This issue is fixed in the current version of LD(2.8.3). If you do not have the current version you can download it here, www.livescribe.com/install
Please let me know if you are still experiencing the same issue after installing 2.8.3.
Thank you,
Jeff
Thanks Jeff--will give it a shot. I checked for upgrades and LD said I had the latest version, but when I looked on the "about" screen it said it was version 2.8.2.xxx, so am now installing 2.8.3.
Thanks,
-Rick
